Macquarie Group completed the acquisition of the equity derivatives and structured products business of German private bank Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. KGaA on 6 April 2010.

The new business, called Macquarie Oppenheim, brings together the financial strength and global reach of Macquarie with Sal. Oppenheim’s regional expertise, creating a truly global derivatives platform. Macquarie Oppenheim clients will benefit from the combined platform and from Macquarie’s commitment and growth plans for the business.
